This double terminated smokey quarz crystal was found in the Erongo Mountains late 2007. Most people immediately thought it was found in the Brandberg Mountain area due to the color and termination of the smokey quarz but there are pieces of Muscovite on the specimen which is very uncommon in the Brandberg mountains.
